Labrador Receives National Right to Life Endorsement
Posted on Jun 17, 2010
Dear Rep. Labrador:
The National Right to Life Political Action Committee is pleased to endorse you for election to the U.S. House of Representatives, to represent the First Congressional District of the State of Idaho.
In the state legislature, you are a strong advocate for life. You have supported and co-sponsored pro-life legislation, and voted for its passage. You oppose the use of federal funding for elective abortion.
During consideration of sweeping health care restructuring legislation backed by President Obama, your opponent, Congressman Walt Minnick, voted against the pro-life Stupak-Pitts Amendment, a pro-life amendment to remove provisions of the bill that expanded coverage of abortion and authorized government funding of elective abortions.
More than 52 million unborn babies in the United States have been killed by abortion since 1973. Our babies need lawmakers who will not abandon them. You are a proven voice for our most vulnerable citizens – our unborn children.
We look forward to working with you to restore legal protection for innocent life – unborn children and medically disabled or dependent persons whose lives are threatened by abortion or euthanasia.
This endorsement reflects your commitment to renewing a culture of life, not only in Idaho, but throughout the nation.
Your exemplary pro-life record should earn you the support of all voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family. We look forward to working with you towards our common pro-life goals during the 112th Congress.
